I chose Farm Bureau because our agents have a unique understanding of the needs of Michigan families and businesses. That's because we live, work, and raise our families here too. I was born and raised in this state, so I value that our organization is a Michigan-based company. Our success goes hand in hand with the success and growth of our state, its communities, and the people.

 

My journey to Farm Bureau resulted from a combination of personal experiences and a passion for helping people. For 10 years, I served as a sales and leasing consultant at a local car dealership. I enjoyed building  long-term relationships with clients, many of whom became friends. The most fulfilling moments in my career are when clients describe me as someone they trust. 

  

While consulting, I often heard stories from families who experienced unexpected financial struggles. My clients'  well-being is my top priority. and it was difficult when I was unable to help. I wished they had someone who offered advice to prepare them. Like my husband and I had when he suddenly faced a serious health scare. There were days we were unsure if he would be around to see the kids grow up. But we knew, we wouldn't have to worry about selling our house or uprooting the kids because someone helped us plan.   

 

We had met with an advisor early on. They showed us our options and how we could prepare for something unexpected. After experiencing my own relief and hearing from clients who did not have a trusted advisor, I was pointed towards this career.

From life's toughest moments, to enjoying retirement, and everything in between.
